Property owner sues Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance CompanyORLANDO — A property owner is suing Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company, an insurer, citing alleged refusal to apply payments.Alfredo Sainz filed a complaint on May 14, in the Cook County Circuit Court against Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company alleging that the insurer refuses to honour its contractual obligations and pay for the covered loss.According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in Sept. 10, 2017, he property at 5421 Arpana Drive suffered a direct physical loss due to interior water damage caused by Hurricane Irma, while the policy is in full force and effect, and all conditions precedent are performed.
