Car accident 28

ORLANDO — A motorist is suing Andre Luiz Dacosta and Proficient Auto Inc., employee and employer, citing alleged negligence.

Maria East filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida-Orange County against the defendants alleging that defendant Proficient negligently entrusted its vehicle to a careless driver.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 13, 2017, she was injured in a vehicle accident at or near the intersection of State Road 411 and Skyview Drive in Orlando. She suffered bodily injuries resulting in pain and suffering, aggravation of preexisting condition, mental anguish and loss of ability to earn money. The plaintiff holds Andre Luiz Dacosta and Proficient Auto Inc. responsible because defendant Dacosta breached his duty to operate his vehicle in a reasonably safe manner by failing to observe his surroundings and by failing to maintain safe distance.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, costs and attorney's fees and all issues so triable. She is represented by Brian M. Davis of Trial Pro PA in Orlando.
