Tina Miller has filed a lawsuit against a well-known furniture retailer, alleging negligence after suffering injuries on their premises. The complaint was officially lodged by Miller in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on January 9, 2025. The defendant in this case is City Furniture, Inc., a Florida-based profit corporation.

According to the details of the case, Tina Miller claims that on June 22, 2024, she visited a City Furniture location at 10312 Forest Hill Blvd Unit 200 in Palm Beach County as a business invitee. During her visit, she tripped and fell due to a broken tile, which she alleges was caused by the negligent maintenance of the property by City Furniture. The complaint outlines several specific accusations against City Furniture. It states that the company failed to maintain its premises in a reasonably safe condition and neglected to correct or warn about the hazardous situation posed by the broken tile. Furthermore, it accuses City Furniture of creating a dangerous condition and asserts that such conditions occurred regularly enough that they should have been aware of them.

Miller claims that as a direct result of these alleged negligent acts or omissions by City Furniture and its agents or servants, she suffered significant injuries. These include bodily harm leading to pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, and aggravation of pre-existing conditions. Additionally, Miller cites losses such as diminished capacity for enjoyment of life, medical expenses for hospitalization and treatment, loss of earnings both past and future, alluding to either permanent or ongoing repercussions from her injuries.

In seeking justice through this lawsuit, Tina Miller demands judgment for damages exceeding $50,000 but remains uncertain if it surpasses $75,000. She also seeks reimbursement for legal costs associated with this action and any other equitable relief deemed appropriate by the court. Moreover, Miller has requested a jury trial for all issues eligible for such proceedings.

The plaintiff is represented by Morris Esquenazi from Wolfson & Leon law firm based in Miami. The Case ID: 502025CA000222XXXAMB Div: AH.
