In a gripping legal battle unfolding in Palm Beach County, Florida, a chiropractic physician and his company are suing a business consulting firm for alleged fraud and breach of contract. On April 23, 2025, Michael Lea, D.C., along with his company Lea Unlimited LLC, filed a complaint against Multidisciplinary Business Applications, Inc., doing business as Concierge Coaches, and its principals Eric Kaplan and Perry Bard.

The lawsuit centers around claims that the defendants misled Dr. Lea into entering a consulting agreement under false pretenses. According to the complaint, Dr. Lea was enticed by promises of significant financial growth for his practice through MBA's consulting services. The defendants allegedly assured him that they were leaders in spinal disk treatment and could help him become "a million-dollar guy." However, the plaintiffs argue that these representations were false and part of a scheme to defraud them.

Dr. Lea asserts that he was persuaded to sign an agreement with MBA on July 10, 2023, based on these assurances. The agreement included services such as personal training sessions (referred to as "BOOTCAMP"), business management plans, recruitment assistance, and advice on daily operations. In return, Dr. Lea agreed to pay an initiation fee of $2,500 and $1,600 per month for three years.

Despite these commitments, the plaintiffs claim that MBA failed to deliver many promised services. They allege that no on-site visits were conducted at their practice as agreed upon and that crucial business management plans were never provided. Furthermore, they accuse the defendants of recommending vendors from whom they received undisclosed kickbacks while falsely claiming no financial ties.

The lawsuit details how Dr. Lea's practice suffered financially after following MBA's advice. Revenue reportedly plummeted after implementing marketing strategies suggested by the defendants' recommended vendors—strategies which ultimately prioritized the defendants' interests over those of Dr. Lea's practice.

Asserting multiple counts including breach of contract, fraudulent inducement against each defendant individually (Kaplan and Bard), breach of fiduciary duty against all defendants collectively (MBA), violation of Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), civil conspiracy among others; Plaintiffs seek compensatory damages exceeding $50k exclusive interest costs & attorney fees alongside other relief deemed just by court.

Representing Dr.Leas’ side is Stephen D.Deitsch from Deitsch & Deitsch PLLC located at West Palm Beach FL while case proceedings fall under jurisdictional purview Circuit Court 15th Judicial Circuit. The Case ID is:502025CA003869XXXAMB Div AE
