JACKSONVILLE – A couple is suing Thor Motor Coach over allegations that they purchased a defective recreational vehicle.
James Libero Jr. and Barbara G. Libero filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the 4th Judicial Circuit Court of Duval County against Thor Motor Coach alleging breach of written warranty.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on June 17, 2015, they purchased a new recreational vehicle (RV) from the defendant with a written factory warranty to be provided by its authorized sales and service providers. Shortly after purchase, plaintiffs allege they experienced various defects that impaired the use, value and safety of the RV. They allege they brought the vehicle to the defendant's service provider 11 different times for repairs.
The plaintiffs hold Thor Motor Coach responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to comply with the terms and conditions of the written warranty.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment in their favor, damages, interest, attorneys' fees, costs and further relief that the court deems just. They are represented by Joshua T. Kaleel of Kaleel Law LLC in Jacksonville.
