Brandon Gunshefski sues St. Mary's Medical Center for negligence leading to significant permanent bodily injury

Brandon Gunshefski has filed a lawsuit against St. Mary's Medical Center, Inc., in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The case number is 502024CA003207XXXAMB Div: AE and was filed on April 5, 2024. The plaintiff alleges negligence on the part of the defendant that resulted in significant permanent bodily injury.

Gunshefski, represented by his attorneys, claims that while working as an air conditioning technician at the medical center's property located at 901 45th St., West Palm Beach, FL 33407, he fell several feet when a walkway collapsed underneath him. This incident occurred on January 31, 2024. He is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 exclusive of costs, interest and attorney’s fees.

The plaintiff accuses St. Mary's Medical Center of failing to maintain its premises in a reasonably safe condition and not warning him of latent or concealed dangers. The complaint lists several specific acts of negligence including allowing a hazardous condition to exist on its premises which was foreseeable to cause injury to Gunshefski.
