According to the complaint filed by June Souder's attorney Matthew Forrester from Wolfson & Leon, Souder was injured due to slipping on a wet floor while visiting the premises as a business invitee. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant failed to maintain safe conditions and did not warn about the hazardous situation. Souder claims to have suffered significant injuries resulting in pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, and loss of earnings.

Ms. Souder has filed a lawsuit against On Top of the World Condominium Association, Inc. in the Circuit Court of the 6th Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County, Florida (Case No. 24-002143-CI), on May 15, 2024. The lawsuit pertains to a slip-and-fall incident that occurred on June 22, 2023, at the defendant's property located at or near 2459 Franciscan Dr., Pinellas County, FL.

Souder is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 but is uncertain if they exceed $75,000. She demands judgment for damages covering medical expenses, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life, and other related costs. Additionally, she requests a jury trial for all triable issues.
