Dr. Charles Richardson and Cleveland Diabetes Care, Inc. (CDC) have filed a lawsuit against Andrew Calvin in the Circuit Court for the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, under case number 502024CA003295XXXAMB Div: AA on April 9, 2024. The plaintiffs are seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from the defendant.

The plaintiffs allege that Calvin, who is believed to be the Director of Development for Coact LLC in Tennessee, solicited CDC while visiting Florida for business and personal purposes. The suit claims that Calvin also attempted to establish a business relationship with Dr. Richardson individually but no agreement was reached. The plaintiffs' legal representation is being provided by an undisclosed counsel.

According to the complaint, CDC disputed entering into a "Scope of Work" agreement with Coact for services related to public relations, website management, graphic design, and SEO and digital marketing management. Issues arose regarding the quality, scope, and cost of these services leading CDC to refuse further payment of invoices. The plaintiffs accuse Calvin of submitting a false affidavit claiming he was working on projects for Dr. Richardson individually when only CDC and a non-party third party received such services.

The plaintiffs are seeking judgment against Calvin for damages including attorneys’ fees and costs along with any other relief deemed just and proper by the court.
