Kristopher Roszak has filed a lawsuit against Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Company in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County, Florida. The case, with ID 24-001257-ClI, was filed on March 19, 2024. The plaintiff is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from the defendant for failing to honor its contractual obligations under an automobile insurance policy.

The suit was filed by James S. Jenkins III of Jenkins Law, P.L., representing Roszak. The plaintiff alleges that on May 7, 2023, he was involved in a car accident caused by Jaime L. Hucknall's negligence while driving a 2020 Nissan Altima in Pinellas Park, Florida. This resulted in significant injuries and financial losses for Roszak.

Roszak's complaint details his physical suffering and financial burdens due to medical expenses and loss of earnings resulting from the accident. The at-fault driver had insurance coverage through Farmers Insurance Exchange but it proved insufficient to cover Roszak's personal injury claims.

In his complaint, Roszak states that Allstate issued him an automobile insurance policy (number 988492967) which included uninsured motorist benefits. He argues that despite being notified of his loss and having an active policy at the time of the crash, Allstate has unjustifiably denied coverage and failed to pay the owed uninsured motorist benefits.
