Timothy Harkins sues Helicon Foundation Repair Systems and John Doe for damages resulting from a vehicular collision

Timothy Harkins has filed a lawsuit against Helicon Foundation Repair Systems, Inc. and an unknown individual referred to as John Doe in the Circuit Court of Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case, numbered 24-001115-ClI, was filed on March 8, 2024.

The plaintiff alleges that on September 19, 2023, the defendant's vehicle, operated by John Doe with the company's consent, collided with his vehicle at the intersection of Ulmerton Road and US 19 in Pinellas County. As a result of this collision, Harkins claims to have suffered bodily injury and various other damages such as disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life among others.

Harkins is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from both defendants for negligence and under Florida’s Dangerous Instrumentality Doctrine. He has requested a trial by jury to determine the actual value of his claim.
