The State of Florida, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has filed a lawsuit against the Greater Pinellas Country Fair Association, Inc., a Florida Fair Association. The case was filed in the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County, Florida with the case number 24-000967-Cl on February 29, 2024. The complaint is for the revocation and dissolution of the fair association's charter.

The plaintiff, represented by Senior Attorney Jared S. Gardner, alleges that the defendant failed to conduct an annual public fair since 2018.
