Jacqueline Perez Romero sues Family Dollar Stores for negligence resulting in personal injury

In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County, Florida, Jacqueline Perez Romero has filed a lawsuit against Family Dollar Stores of Florida, LLC. The case (ID: 24-001016-Cl) was filed on March 4, 2024.

The plaintiff, represented by her lawyer, alleges that she suffered severe and permanent injuries due to negligence on the part of Family Dollar Stores. On April 23, 2023, Romero claims she tripped and fell over an improperly placed pallet within one of the defendant's stores located at 1701 44" Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.

Romero is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 exclusive of interest, costs and attorneys' fees for this incident which she asserts was due to multiple negligent acts by Family Dollar Stores including failure to maintain safe premises and failure to warn about or remedy dangerous conditions.
