Latonya M. Parson has filed a lawsuit against Nancy M. Benjamin and Alan S. Benjamin in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida, Pinellas County, under case number 24-000932-ClI on February 27, 2024. The complaint alleges that Nancy M. Benjamin negligently operated a motor vehicle owned by Alan S. Benjamin causing an accident that resulted in serious bodily injuries to Parson. Represented by Eduardo R. Latour from Latour & Associates, P.A., Parson is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.
The accident occurred on June 1, 2023, around 6:24 p.m., at or near the intersection of S. Missouri Avenue and Belleair Road in Clearwater, Florida. The defendants are residents of Tonawanda, New York and have been non-residents of Florida before and since the accident.
Parson suffered injuries to her body and extremities resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life among other losses due to the negligence of Nancy M. Benjamin. These losses are either permanent or continuing in nature and will be suffered by Parson in the future.
Parson is demanding judgment against both defendants individually for an amount exceeding $50,000 exclusive of costs and interest along with a trial by jury.
