TAMPA -- A woman is suing a bar after a dart board fell and struck her on the head.

Andrea Robertson filed a complaint on July 5 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against Hourglass Entertainment, LLC d/b/a Stingray's Bar and Grill and Merlin Amusements, Inc. for failure to keep premises reasonably safe, failure to warn of hazardous conditions and negligent installation.

According to the complaint, on August 25, 2018, Robertson was at Stingray's Bar and Grill playing darts installed by Merlin Amusements when the dart machine was not secured to the wall, causing the dart machine to fall and strike Robertson in the head, causing her injury. Robertson alleges it was the responsibility of the bar to warn patrons of the possible dangers inside the establishment.

Robertson is represented by Richard D. Giglio.

Circuit Court of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in and for the County of Hillsborough filing number 130044272.
