JACKSONVILLE — A photography studio is suing RGB Ventures, LLC, a Florida business, citing alleged copyright infringement.
Michael Grecco Productions, Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 24, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against RGB Ventures, LLC alleging that the Florida business displayed plaintiff's copyrighted works on websites.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Michael Grecco Productions, Inc. suffered damages from having their copyrighted works publicly displayed without their permission. The plaintiff holds RGB Ventures, LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly continued to use plaintiff's works even after the termination of their agreement.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks accounting of all revenues earned by the defendant, award of all profits to the defendant, statutory damages, damages of up to $150,000 for each infringement, exemplary and punitive damages, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as this court deems just.
