MIAMI — A passenger is suing NCL (Bahamas) Ltd., d/b/a Norwegian Cruise Line, a cruise ship company, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.
Susan Nolan filed a complaint on Oct. 19, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division against NCL (Bahamas) Ltd., d/b/a Norwegian Cruise Line alleging that the cruise ship company failed to properly inspect the area around the red carpet placed on the deck for any tripping hazards.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on Dec. 6, 2015, she sustained physical injuries when she tripped and fell. The plaintiff holds NCL (Bahamas) Ltd., d/b/a Norwegian Cruise Line responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the hazardous condition of the red carpet placed on the deck.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, all medical expenses, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief this court deems just. She is represented by Robert L. Gardana of Robert L. Gardana, P.A. in Miami.
