MIAMI – A Monroe County man alleges he was not paid overtime by his former employer.

Frank Monticello filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Beach on Duval LLC and Blake Feldman alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked from January to April for more than 40 hours per week without getting paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Beach on Duval LLC and Feldman responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime premiums at a rate of time-and-one-half to plaintiff for working more than 40 hours per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by Brian Militzok of Militzok Law PA in Hollywood.
