Diana Bruton has filed a lawsuit against two corporations, alleging negligence that led to her sustaining significant injuries. The complaint was filed in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on November 4, 2024, against Navarro Lowrey, Inc., and Palm Beach Parking, Inc.
According to the complaint, Diana Bruton was visiting her doctor at a property located at 185 Banyan Boulevard in West Palm Beach on May 16, 2024. As she exited the premises, she slipped on a foreign substance on the stairs adjacent to a valet stand operated by Palm Beach Parking, Inc., causing her to fall and suffer serious injuries. The plaintiff claims that both defendants failed to maintain the premises in a safe condition and neglected their duty of care towards business invitees like herself.
The complaint outlines several allegations against Navarro Lowrey, Inc., referred to as "Landlord," which include failing to maintain the stairs properly, not providing adequate handrails, creating slip hazards, and not inspecting or warning about dangerous conditions. Similarly, accusations against Palm Beach Parking, Inc., labeled as "Valet," include blocking access to handrails and neglecting safety inspections. The plaintiff asserts that these failures constitute breaches of non-delegable duties owed by both defendants.
Bruton is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from each defendant for her pain and suffering, medical expenses, loss of earnings capacity, and other related losses. She demands a jury trial for all issues so triable.
Representing Diana Bruton is attorney Robert Dixon from the Law Offices of Robert Dixon. The case: 502024CA010487XXXAMB Div: AK.
