According to the court documents, the incident occurred on August 19, 2022, when Jenkins allegedly struck Garces Bracho's vehicle at the intersection of Enterprise Center Blvd and Venture Center Way in Palm Beach County. At the time of the accident, Jenkins was driving a 2019 Honda while Garces Bracho was operating a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The plaintiff claims that Jenkins failed to exercise reasonable care while driving his vehicle, which led to a violent collision causing permanent injuries to her.
The complaint outlines that Jenkins had a duty to operate his vehicle safely and prudently to avoid causing harm to others on the road. It alleges that he breached this duty by negligently and carelessly operating his vehicle. As a result of this breach, Garces Bracho sustained serious injuries and aggravated preexisting conditions.
