On August 19, 2024, Kristen Alagna filed a complaint in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, against Water Pontoon LLC, Blue Pointe Partners LLC, and Julianne Clark.
The incident occurred on October 28, 2023. According to the court filing, Julianne Clark was operating a golf cart owned or operated by Water Pontoon LLC while employed by Blue Pointe Partners LLC. The plaintiff alleges that Clark's negligence led to severe injuries for Luca Alagna, a minor. Specifically, the complaint states that Clark failed to operate the golf cart safely and did not ensure that all riders were properly restrained or accompanied by adult supervision. As a result of this alleged negligence, Luca fell out of the cart and was run over by one of its tires.
