A Florida resident has filed a lawsuit against multiple companies for injuries sustained in a slip-and-fall accident. Vinnette Albino filed the complaint in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on July 25, 2024, naming Sandalfoot Plaza Holdings, LLC; Auto Lavado Intermediate, L.L.C.; Express Car Wash of West Boca, LLC; and Summit Wash Holdings, L.L.C. as defendants.

According to the complaint, Albino was injured on June 23, 2023, while visiting the premises at 23133 Sandalfoot Plaza Dr., Boca Raton. She alleges that she slipped and fell on a pothole filled with soapy water and loose gravel in the parking lot. The lawsuit claims that the defendants failed to maintain their property in a safe condition and neglected to warn visitors of potential hazards. "The dangerous condition was known to Defendant or had existed for a sufficient length of time that Defendant should have known of it," states the complaint.

Albino asserts that each defendant had a duty to ensure their premises were safe for business invitees like herself. She accuses them of failing to inspect, maintain, or repair the parking lot adequately. The plaintiff further alleges that these failures resulted in her sustaining severe personal injuries including pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life, medical expenses, and loss of earnings.

The plaintiff is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from each defendant. In addition to monetary compensation for her injuries and associated costs, Albino is also asking for any other relief deemed appropriate by the court.

Representing Vinnette Albino are attorneys Peter J. Somera Jr. and Paul M. Silva from Somera & Silva LLP. The case will be presided over by judges from the Circuit Court of Palm Beach County under Case ID: 502024CA007040XXXAMB Div: AO.
