Nathan Gorman has filed a lawsuit against Madison Ducharme, The Bancorp Bank, National Association, and Roofcrafters Roofing, LLC in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case ID is 24-001987-CI and was e-filed on May 6, 2024. The lawsuit centers around a bicycle accident involving Gorman and Ducharme.

On June 29, 2023, Gorman was riding his bicycle on Tampa Road in Oldsmar, FL when he was struck by Ducharme driving a 2020 Jeep Wrangler at the intersection with Forrest Lakes Blvd. Plaintiff's attorney Afram Malki claims that Ducharme failed to yield and keep proper lookout, resulting in severe injuries to Gorman.

Gorman alleges that as a result of the accident, he sustained permanent personal injuries and incurred significant medical expenses. He also claims lost income due to missed work for medical appointments and treatment. Additionally, he seeks compensation for pain and suffering and other economic losses.

The plaintiff is seeking a jury trial and final judgment against all defendants for damages exceeding $50,000. He asserts that Bancorp is liable under vicarious liability as the vehicle owner and Roofcrafters Roofing is liable as Ducharme’s employer at the time of the incident.
