Man Sues Nokia Employee for Defamation Over Online Posts

Kenneth Bryant and Bryant Enterprises, LLC have filed a lawsuit against Bryan Donald Fields in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case, identified as 24-002011-CI, was e-filed on May 7, 2024. The plaintiffs allege that Fields engaged in a continuous pattern of defamatory conduct aimed at damaging their professional reputation and business relationships.

The complaint details that Fields, an employee of Nokia, published false and misleading statements about Bryant on various platforms starting from May 7, 2022. These defamatory posts were made on social media groups like Facebook Motorola P25/TRBO/TETRA Users Group and websites such as wiki.w9cr.net and fuckhams.com. SeanCarlo Lopez of Lopez Law Group represents the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs claim that these actions led to significant financial losses exceeding $50,000 due to lost business opportunities and damaged reputation. They seek compensatory damages for defamation per se and tortious interference with contractual relations.

Bryant is seeking a judgment for compensatory damages exceeding $50,000, punitive damages for malicious conduct, removal of all defamatory postings by Fields, attorney's fees, and other related costs.
