Neil Brown has filed a lawsuit against Donald Martin, Crown Auto Dealerships, Inc., and Hyundai Motor America Corporation in the Circuit Court for Pinellas County, Florida. The case number is 24-001965-CI and was filed on May 3, 2024. The lawsuit seeks damages exceeding $50,000 for an alleged car accident involving a Hyundai Accent owned by the defendants.

The plaintiff's lawyer alleges that on May 6, 2020, Brown was parked near the intersection of Gulf Boulevard and 174th Terrace Drive East in Redington Shores when his vehicle was hit by Martin. Martin was reportedly driving a Hyundai Accent northbound on Gulf Boulevard at the time of the incident.

The complaint further states that both Crown Auto Dealerships and Hyundai Motor America owned the Hyundai Accent being driven by Martin with their consent. Brown is seeking judgment for damages against all defendants individually and collectively. He also demands a trial by jury for all issues that can be tried. His losses include hospitalization expenses, medical care costs, loss of earnings and earning capacity as well as severe mental and emotional distress both past and future.
