Edward Conyers has filed a lawsuit against Zicari Deon Gibbons and Walsh Construction Company II, LLC in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida, Pinellas County. The case number is 24-001798-CI and was filed on April 22, 2024.
Conyers alleges that on May 20, 2023, Gibbons negligently operated a motor vehicle owned by Walsh Construction Company II, causing it to collide with Conyers' vehicle at the intersection of 407 St. South and 9th Ave in St. Petersburg, Florida. The plaintiff's lawyer asserts that Gibbons was acting within his employment scope with Walsh Construction at the time of the accident.
The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 for significant and permanent loss of an important bodily function, severe injuries to various parts of his body, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life, medical expenses, loss of earnings and ability to earn money. He also demands a trial by jury on all issues so triable.
