Theodore Vlahos has filed a lawsuit against United Services Automobile Association (USAA), a Reciprocal Interinsurance Exchange, in the Circuit Court for Pinellas County, Florida. The case number is 24-001732-CI and was filed on April 18, 2024. The suit seeks damages exceeding $50,000 for an automobile accident involving an uninsured motorist.

On June 10, 2023, Vlahos was involved in a collision with Maria Guerrero, an uninsured motorist. The incident occurred at the VA North Pinellas Clinic parking lot in Clearwater, Florida. According to the complaint, Guerrero negligently operated her vehicle causing it to collide with Vlahos's car.

Vlahos alleges that as a result of Guerrero's negligence, he suffered severe and permanent injuries resulting in significant medical expenses and loss of enjoyment of life. At the time of the accident, Vlahos had an insurance policy with USAA which provided coverage for accidents involving uninsured motorists.

Vlahos is seeking judgment against USAA for failing to provide benefits under his insurance policy following the accident. He claims that all conditions precedent to this cause of action have occurred and that USAA's failure to provide benefits has resulted in additional damages.
