Jacklyn Brown has filed a lawsuit against Sea Towers Owners Association, Inc. and Continental Towers Association in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case number is 24-001765-CI and was e-filed on April 19, 2024.
Brown, represented by her attorneys, alleges that she suffered injuries due to negligence on the part of the defendants. On May 13, 2023, Brown claims she stepped into a sizeable hole in the community green space of Sea Towers development where she resides, resulting in significant injuries.
The plaintiff asserts that the hole constituted a hazardous condition which had existed for a sufficient length of time that Sea Towers should have been aware of it. She also alleges that inadequate lighting conditions contributed to her accident.
Brown is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 exclusive of costs and interest. She accuses Sea Towers Owners Association and Continental Towers Association of failing to maintain safe conditions, correct known hazards, provide adequate lighting in common areas, and other acts of negligence.
