In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, plaintiff Daniel Lee has filed a lawsuit against Walmart Stores, Inc., Wal-Mart Stores East LP, Michael Musumeche, and Joe R. Jones Construction, Inc. The case (number 24-001433-CI) was filed on March 29, 2024 and centers around an incident where Lee tripped and fell on a road adjoining a Walmart store.

Represented by his counsel, Lee alleges that the incident occurred on July 29, 2023 at the Walmart store located at 3400 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor, Florida. The defendants are accused of negligence in maintaining the road adjoining their premises which led to the plaintiff's fall. The complaint details that both Walmart Stores Inc., a foreign Delaware corporation registered to do business in Pinellas County, and its subsidiary Wal-Mart Stores East LP were responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the store including ensuring roads were free from hazardous conditions.

Michael Musumeche is identified as an individual defendant residing at Treasure Island, Florida who was employed as the manager of the said store. He too held responsibility for overseeing daily operations including maintenance of safe conditions on roads adjoining the store.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against all defendants for their alleged negligence leading to his accident and subsequent damages. No specific amount has been stated in this document.
