Kevin Schuerman has filed a lawsuit against David Hetterich and Fieldstone Landscape Services, LLC in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County, Florida. The case number is 24-001390-CI and was filed on March 27, 2024. The plaintiff alleges that he suffered severe injuries from a motor vehicle collision involving the defendants.
The incident occurred on May 5, 2023, when Schuerman was riding his bicycle on Snell Isle Boulevard in St. Petersburg, Florida. Hetterich, who was operating a motor vehicle and pulling a utility trailer for Fieldstone Landscape Services at the time, allegedly cut in front of Schuerman causing him to fall off his bike.
Schuerman claims that Hetterich's negligence led to the accident and is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. He alleges that Hetterich failed to maintain a proper lookout, pay attention to the road while driving, obey traffic laws and operate his vehicle safely.
