K.N. sues Danielle Leblanc for car accident resulting in personal injury

The minor K.N., represented by her parent and natural guardian Hoang Nguyen, has filed a lawsuit against Danielle LeBlanc and Alexander Coons in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County, Florida. The case number is 24-001429-CI and was filed on March 29, 2024.

On September 8, 2023, while K.N. was driving a Honda CRV north on South Ft. Harrison Avenue in Pinellas County, LeBlanc, who was operating Coons' Ford Expedition with his consent, turned left onto Belleair Road causing a collision with K.N.'s vehicle. As a result of this accident, LeBlanc was cited for careless driving under Florida Statutes, Section 316.192 (Case No. 23-64270-TR).

K.N., who claims to have exercised due care while operating her vehicle and was wearing safety belts at the time of the incident, alleges that she suffered permanent injury due to the defendants' negligence. She seeks damages in excess of $50,000 exclusive of interest and attorneys’ fees.
