Audries D. Garland sues Patricio Tovar Jr. for a rear-end collision causing serious and permanent injury

In the Circuit Court for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, plaintiff Audries D. Garland has filed a lawsuit against defendants Patricio Tovar Jr. and Susan M. Tovar. The case, bearing the number 24-001635-CI, was filed on April 11, 2024, and seeks damages exceeding $50,000.

The complaint alleges that on July 20, 2023, Patricio Tovar Jr., while operating a vehicle owned by Susan M. Tovar, caused a rear-end collision with Garland's car on Starkey Road near Ulmerton Road in Pinellas County. The plaintiff's attorneys are Royce C. Haddad Jr., Adam J. Talley, and Chris J. Roberts from Haddad & Associates.

Garland claims to have suffered serious and permanent injury as a result of the accident. The damages include bodily injury, physical pain and suffering, disability and loss of capacity to lead a normal life, physical impairment, disfigurement and scarring, mental anguish among others.

Garland is seeking a trial by jury and judgment against both defendants for an amount within the jurisdictional limits of the court - more than $50,000 plus costs - along with any other relief to which they may be justly entitled.
