In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, a lawsuit was filed by plaintiff Craig Putnam against Auto Club South Insurance Company (Case No: 24-001565-CI) on April 8, 2024. The case revolves around a complaint for damages exceeding $50,000 related to an automobile accident involving an underinsured motorist.

Represented by attorney Grant Dostie, Putnam alleges that on October 4, 2023, he was involved in a car accident caused by Aaron Dever's negligence in Pinellas County. Dever is described as an underinsured or uninsured motorist. As a result of the collision, Putnam claims to have suffered severe injuries leading to physical and mental pain, disability, disfigurement, medical expenses, loss of earnings and enjoyment of life.

The plaintiff had an insurance policy with Auto Club South Insurance Company that provided underinsured motorists’ coverage at the time of the incident. Despite providing timely notice and proof of claim for damages to Auto Club South Insurance Company post-accident, Putnam alleges that the company denied coverage or refused to pay the full value of his claim.

Putnam seeks judgment against Auto Club South Insurance Company for an amount exceeding $50,000 and demands a trial by jury for all issues triable as of right by a jury.
