Arturo Portugal sues Gabriel Anthony Toussaint for negligent operation of a motor vehicle

Arturo Portugal and Ester Portugal have filed a lawsuit against Gabriel Anthony Toussaint and Kelli Marie Toussaint in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida, Pinellas County. The case, bearing the ID 24-001561-CI, was filed on April 8, 2024. The plaintiffs are seeking damages in excess of $50,000 for alleged negligence resulting in a motor vehicle collision.

The plaintiffs' attorney alleges that on September 14, 2023, Gabriel Anthony Toussaint negligently operated a motor vehicle which collided with the plaintiffs' vehicle. Both Arturo and Ester Portugal were residents of St. Petersburg, Pinellas County at the time of the incident while the defendants were residents of Perry, Taylor County.

The complaint further details that as a result of the collision, Arturo Portugal suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish among other damages. The losses are said to be either permanent or continuing.

In their demand for judgment, Arturo Portugal seeks compensation from Gabriel Anthony Toussaint for damages exceeding $50,000 plus costs of proceedings and any other remedy allowable by law. A jury trial is demanded on all issues triable.
