Christina Simoniello sues Lee Bartosh for car accident damages

Christina Simoniello has filed a lawsuit against Lee Bartosh and Progressive Select Insurance Company in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case, identified as 24-001570-CI, was lodged on April 8, 2024. The plaintiff is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for injuries and losses sustained from a car accident allegedly caused by Bartosh's negligence.

The incident occurred on May 10, 2023, in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida. Simoniello alleges that Bartosh negligently operated his vehicle resulting in a collision with her car. As a result of this accident, she claims to have suffered permanent injuries, mental anguish, loss of wages and income earning capacity among other damages.

Simoniello also holds Progressive Select Insurance Company liable under an uninsured/underinsured motorist policy issued to her by the company. The policy was active at the time of the accident and provided coverage up to $100,000 per person or $300,000 per incident.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment against both defendants for damages exceeding $50,000 exclusive of interest, costs and attorney’s fees. She demands compensation for medical expenses incurred due to her injuries and future impairments she will suffer or incur.
