Cheryl Feinman, as the personal representative of the estate of Zachary Feinman, deceased, has filed a lawsuit against Aloha Detox Center, LLC. The case was filed in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County under case number 502024CA002429XXXAMB on March 15, 2024. The plaintiff alleges wrongful death and seeks damages in excess of $50,000.

The suit claims that Zachary Feinman was admitted to Aloha Detox Center on June 9, 2023 for addiction treatment. However, he was found unresponsive later that day and pronounced dead at Delray Medical Center. His death was attributed to Acute Combined Drug Toxicity due to substances allegedly accessed while at the detox center.

Feinman's estate is open and pending in Palm Beach County. The plaintiff argues that the defendant violated Florida Statutes Chapter 415 and §415.1111 by failing to provide a safe environment for Zachary Feinman during his treatment.

Cheryl Feinman is seeking damages for wrongful death and violations of statutory duties as per Florida Statute §415.1111. She alleges that Aloha Detox Center's negligence directly resulted in Zachary's death.
