In the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, Florida, a lawsuit has been filed by plaintiffs Michael A. Bozzuto and NP Management LLC against the Village of North Palm Beach. The case ID is 502024CA002377XXXAMB Div: AH, filed on March 14, 2024. The complaint seeks declaratory and injunctive relief over property disputes.

The plaintiffs, represented by their attorneys, allege that Bozzuto owns several properties within the jurisdictional limits of the Village. These properties include addresses at Shore Drive and Harbour Isles Court. Bozzuto claims to have spent over $1 million between 2017 and 2019 on designing, permitting, and constructing seawalls, docks, and boat lifts adjacent to one of these properties.

Bozzuto also alleges that he owns a yacht titled under Brizo LLC, which he controls. He wishes to moor this yacht at the dock behind his property at 932 Shore Drive. However, he contends that the Village has reinterpreted its Code of Ordinances without amendment to prohibit him from doing so.

The plaintiffs are seeking judgment against the defendant for what they perceive as an unjust reinterpretation of land development regulations. They argue that this reinterpretation violates legal principles governing such regulations.
