TAMPA -- Nicole Gainey, as personal representative of the estate of Jarid Jones, filed a complaint on October 31 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against Sam Howell Astin III for negligence.
According to the complaint, on Nov. 2, 2019, Jones was killed in an automobile vs. motorcycle accident at the intersection of Mud Lake Road and Holloway Road in Plant City. It is alleged that at the time of the incident, the driver's vision was obscured by vegetation on property owned by Astin.
