ORLANDO -- A woman is suing after allegedly suffering injury after falling down a standstill escalator.

Jennifer Sullivan filed a complaint on June 30 in Orange County Circuit Court against Universal City Development Partners, LTD. for negligence.

According to the complaint, on June 22, 2018, Sullivan was walking at the premises and as she was stepping onto the standstill escalator, she slipped and tumbled down the escalator, which was not running due to maintenance located at or near the AMC Universal Cineplex 20 and the Cold Stone Creamery store.

Sullivan alleges she suffered bodily injury in and about her body and extremities, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, permanent and significant scarring, mental anguish, loss of the capacity for the enjoyment of life, expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment, and loss of ability to earn money and will continue loses in the future.

Sullivan seeks damages, interest and demands a trial. Sullivan is represented by Craig R. Lynd of Kaufman and Lynd, PLLC.
