TAMPA -- A woman is suing Subway in the downtown Tampa area for racial discrimination.

Latoya D. Everett filed a complaint on June 8 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against Downtown Subway, Inc. for race discrimination and retaliation in violation of the Florida Civil Rights Act.

According to the complaint, On November 21, 2017, Subway hired Everett as a Sandwich Artist.
