TAMPA -- Parents are suing a horse stable after their daughter sustained injuries when she was allegedly thrown off a horse.

Jimmy Richard Richarte and Fanny Carolina Romero, parents of Jazmin Richarte, filed a complaint on June 2 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against Riding Horse Leasing, Inc. d/b/a Turkey Creek Stables, Peggy Womack and Phillip T. Barnes for negligence.

According to the complaint, Jazmin on Nov. 29, 2020, was thrown off a horse while at Turkey Creek Stables, owned and operated by Womack and Barnes. Richarte and  Romero allege that it was because of the negligence of Turkey Creek Stables for not providing a proper riding horse for a minor.

The plaintiffs are represented by Marc M. Crumpton of Morgan and Morgan.
