TAMPA -- A parent claims her child fell during recess at school and was injured.
Fany Zelaya filed a complaint on May 11 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against the School Board of Hillsborough County for negligent supervision.
According to the complaint, on January 14, 2020, a minor Joseph Ricardo Reyes-Zelaya was attending Dr. Carter G. Woodson PK-8 Leadership Academy and out at recess when said child fell from the playground, resulting in a fractured arm. Zelaya alleged that negligent supervision caused the child to fall and become injured.
