TAMPA - Green Parrot Bar and Grill on Dale Mabry Hwy. in Tampa was brought to civil court on April 7 in Hillsborough County after a man was allegedly attacked by an NFL quarterback for talking to his girlfriend.

On March 18, 2021, plaintiff Anthony Albino was at the Green Parrot when he recognized a former classmate. While chatting with the woman, her boyfriend, defendant Seattle Seahawks quarterback Alexander McGough, suddenly approached and attacked Albino, belligerently shouting and then striking Albino in the face, the suit claims.

The plaintiff says he did nothing to the woman or McGough to warrant the attack other than the conversation with his former classmate.

Albino, who is six inches shorter and almost half the weight of the NFL player, suffered a broken nose and brain damage from the attack, the suit says.

The defendants are charged with assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and premises liability.

Albino is represented by the Law Office of Roland A. Rosello PL of Tampa.

McGough played collegiately at Florida International University and was signed by Seattle to its practice squad in December.
