ORLANDO — A motorist is suing Emily Rohlf and Patrick Graham Rohlf, a vehicle driver and an owner, citing alleged negligence.

Angela Humphries filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida-Orange County against the defendants alleging that defendant Patrick Rohlf negligently entrusted his vehicle to defendant Emily Rohlf.

According to the complaint, Humphries alleges that on June 23, 2017, she was involved in a motor vehicle accident with the defendants' automobile at or near the intersection of Country Road 423 and Taft Vineland Road in Orange County. She sustained serious injuries resulting in permanent loss of an important bodily function, scarring or disfigurement, medical care and treatment expenses, and loss of wages. Humphries holds Emily Rohlf and Patrick Graham Rohlf responsible because defendant Emily Rohlf allegedly negligently and carelessly operated her vehicle so as to collide with the motor vehicle driven by Humphries.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages that exceeds $15,000, exclusive of interest, costs and attorney’s fees and for other such relief as may be just and equitable. She is represented by Steven J. Tomesko of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
