NELSON MULLINS: Associate Jason Lambert Appointed President of Tampa Bay NARI

Partnership

Nelson Mullins issued the following announcement on Jan. 14.

Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel associate Jason S. Lambert has been appointed to serve as president of the Tampa Bay area chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Lambert, currently the Tampa Bay chapter’s first vice president, will officially begin his two-year term as president on Tuesday, Jan. 15. He will be responsible for overall leadership of the chapter and membership.

“I’m very humbled and excited to have been elected to lead this group,” said Lambert.

The inception of NARI National began with 1935’s National Recovery Act and 1956’s Operation Home Improvement. Presidents Roosevelt and Eisenhower’s nationwide efforts resulted in the subsequent National Remodelers Association (NRA). The NRA teamed with the National Home Improvement Council in 1983 to form NARI.

In the early 70s, a small group of contractors founded the Home Improvement Council of Pinellas County which, in 1983, merged with the National Remodeling Council to ultimately form the Tampa Bay chapter of NARI.

“NARI is the homeowner's resource for finding quality contractors, design-build firms, suppliers, and other related professionals in the area,” according to the organization’s website. “NARI's core purpose is to advance and promote the remodeling industry's professionalism, product, and vital public purpose.”

Lambert also serves as the immediate past president of the Clearwater Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and is a member of the Florida Creditor’s Bar Association.

Lambert is a civil trial attorney who focuses his practice on representing businesses in commercial and complex litigation, with an emphasis on the construction and real estate industries. His clients include contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, developers, and financial institutions.
