Tenant alleges Orlando property owner's negligence led to bathroom injuries

ORLANDO — A tenant is suing an Orlando property owner, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Jose Robles filed a complaint July 25 in Orange County Circuit Court against Khan Wahidur  the property owner failed to maintain the rental property in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 4, 2017, Robles was a tenant at Wahidur's property, 7701 Aviano St., Orlando, when he slipped and fell due to water leak in the bathroom. The suit says Robles sustained bodily injuries resulting in pain and suffering, disfigurement, disability and loss of earnings. 

The plaintiff alleges Wahidur failed to provide adequate warning of a concealed peril that should have been known to the defendant.

Robles seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of interest, costs and attorney fees and all other proper and appropriate relief. He is represented by attorney Ryan Christopher Rodems of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
