Pedestrian alleges rottweiler attacked him in Largo without provocation

CLEARWATER – A pedestrian alleges he was injured when a dog attacked him while walking in Largo.

John Kiblinger filed a complaint on June 15 in the Pinellas Circuit Court against Sharon Deegan and Robert Deegan alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 4, 2017, he was lawfully walking on the sidewalk in front of defendants' Largo property when their adult rottweiler attacked him without provocation. He alleges he suffered injuries to his body extremities, pain, medical expenses and physical handicap and impairment.

The plaintiff holds Sharon Deegan and Robert Deegan responsible because the defendant allegedly violated their duty to take reasonable precautions to guard or protect others from the viciousness and danger of their dog.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks of all issues triable. He is represented by Michael C. Bird of Morgan & Morgan, Tampa PA in Tampa.
