CLEARWATER — A Dunedin property owner is suing an insurance company, alleging breach of an insurance contract.

Tambsen Gendreau filed a complaint June 20 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Tower Hill Signature Insurance Company, alleging failure to provide insurance coverage for water damage.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 26, 2017, Gendreau notified Tower Hill of the loss suffered at her property, 775 Vine Ave., Dunedin, due to water damage. Gendreau says she has complied with all conditions precedent to entitle her to recover benefits under the policy.

However, despite assigning a claim number for the loss, Tower Hill allegedly has failed to provide coverage necessary to cover the property loss.

The plaintiff alleges Tower Hill Signature Insurance has failed to provide coverage for all losses due and owing under the insurance policy.

Gendreau seeks trial by jury, judgment for all losses with interest on any overdue payments, damages of more than $15,000, plus attorney fees and court costs. She is represented by attorney Bradford L. Stewart of The Nation Law Firm LLP in Lakeland.
