ORLANDO – An Orlando law firm alleges a Texas corporation failed to pay it in full for legal services it provided.

Urban, Thier & Federer PA filed a complaint on April 9 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Orange County against Elevate Recoveries LLC alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff provided legal services to the defendant from January to July 2017 and billed 63.9 hours of time, totaling $14,743.

The plaintiff holds Elevate Recoveries LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly still owes a remaining balance of $8,170.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant including amounts unpaid, due and owing under the terms of the agreement; plus interest; attorney’s fees and court costs; and such other relief as the court deems appropriate. It is represented by Ernest H. Kohlmyer III of Shepard, Smith, Kohlmyer & Hand PA in Maitland.
