ORLANDO — An Orange County man is suing an Orlando property owner, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Mark Jensen filed a complaint Nov. 16 in Orange County Circuit Court against Marinemax Inc. and Parker Properties - Orlando LLP, alleging failure to follow applicable safety guidelines and regulations.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 28, 2016, Jensen was on defendants' premises, 455 SD. Lake Destiny Drive, Orlando, when he fell into a hole in the grassy area of the property and struck a drainage pipe. As a result of the defendants' negligence, the suit says, Jensen suffered bodily injury, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, aggravation of an existing condition, medical expenses, and loss of earnings.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to inspect and maintain the premises, failed to adequately correct the dangerous condition and failed to have adequate staff assigned to the task of inspecting the premises.

Jensen seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, plus interest and courts costs. He is represented by attorney Matt T. Morgan of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
