Walt Disney Parks and Resorts US allegedly failed to prevent individual from falling

ORLANDO — An individual is suing Walt Disney Parks and Resorts US Inc. for alleged negligence.

Penelope Graham filed a complaint on Aug. 15 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to follow applicable safety guidelines and regulations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was on the defendant's property on Dec. 26, 2015 when she allegedly fell to the ground due to poor lighting. The plaintiff alleges that she sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain, suffering, disability, mental anguish, lost wages and medical expenses. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide a safe, unobstructed path, and for allegedly failing to warn patrons of the dangers on its premises.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages exceeding $15,000, plus costs. She is represented by Robert Dixon of Law Offices of Robert Dixon in Miami.
